Everybody loves the 300 win mag and it is a belted cart. I do love mine, I'm satisfied with it, I just want a little more HP to run the heaviest .30's
On the other hand I hear that many people don't like the 300 wby because it is belted, etc..and it is not popular among the LRS/H Community...
This is why I don't have any 7mm rifle, I am more confident making a .30 cal wound channel, even if I can't beat 28 Nosler ballistics. However it seems that I will, with the ELD-M 225gr .....
I want to get a new rifle and I can't get it in the cal I want. ( 300 wby mag )
Already have 300 win mag shooting 215 hybrids, and I love it, but want to get a little more performance in order to shoot 225g ELD-M, 230 Hybrids, and the 245 when they release them
I think the 300 Wby could work...
My pick would be:
Sako 85 Finnlight 2 in 300 WSM
Sako 85 Carbonlight in 300 WSM or 260 Rem.
With a Swarovski Z6i 5-30x50mm
And start shooting with it asap!!
Good luck
I have the forster press and the forster dies, some times I check runout with the century 21st con. tool and I get mora than .5 thousands !!! And other rounds barely move the dial.
evrything the same: dies, press, brass, gun, wilson trimmer, etc..
Just don't understand why..
Hello guys,
I just got the Swarovski BTX with 85mm Lens, and I need to upgrade my current tripod and T Head.
What are you using with this kind of glass?
I have the manfrotto 128RC Head that I am not going to carry anymore , because it is very heavy and I need to shave all the weight I can...
Please Help me with this:
I am looking forward to buy more dies for new guns.
Currently using forster dies
My question: Is there any advantage to get wilson micrometer seating dies with a K&M arbor press vs forster UM seating dies ??
Thanks
I am looking forward to move from berger 30 215 Hybrid to hornady ELDM 225g .... because it has a better BC..
In both 300 win and 300 wby mag
And close ranges with Barnes 168g ttsx..
Could you help me to find out if this is a good decision??
Thanks
