I have a Teka in 300 win mag and would like to move up to either 300RUM or 338 Lapua for elk mainly. Is this practical considering the cost? Teka is very accurate ,should I spend that money on a really good LR scope. It has a Leupold 3x12 40 Vari X II? I would like to be able to take elk out to 1000-1200 yards.
