Cut barrels are my preference as well. Have Brux and Chanlynn. Both tack drivers. As far as button, Hart is hard to beat.

Kevin built me a 7mm/300 Win. (sheep rifle) Quality fit and accuracy are super. Its is built on a Blue printed Rem700 action, Brux barrel,piller bedded Hi Tech stock and Timney trigger. He is a true craftsman and excellent to work with and talk to. You can't go wrong.
