300 blackout is too weak for deer (graphic)

I have found the Barnes 110's to be alot more accurate than the 120's for some reason. The 110's have dropped quite a few hogs for me

Winchester Model 70 FW .260 Rem (relist)

Is that barrel thicker than the normal featherweight profile?

    25 06

I've been getting very good accuracy with 117g SST's and over 3100fps with h4831SC. Also got great accuracy with the Speer BTSP. With my non scientific testing the SST held up better. May try the 100g Barnes. Not sure how they expand on Alabama whitetails. 24" Model 70 stainless. My...

    257 Robert's

I have a 1936 Model 54 that has a Model 70 barrel. It was the 1st real deer rifle my father gave me. It shoots the 117 hornady superperformance wonderfully. Shot my first two deer with it. Fast forward 30 years. I bought a maple limited edition Model 70 in .257 for my 50th birthday. It was just...

I saw your post about your 25 wssm featherweight. I just got one this weekend, practically new. I was curious to what it likes to shoot. I have a coyote model that I have loads for but it didn't like my loads too much. Additionally, mine is not free floated, did you have to "wallow' out your...

    Precision 7mm08 ammunition for deer

I've had great results with the 120 Barnes factory stuff and load it hotter now, myself. I have had great terminal results

    Bullet for hogs

I've shot several with the Barnes 110 grain and they are deadly. I've been using the 130 grain Speer hot cor in my .300 ham'r which have been spectacular. in my 308 i use the 150-168 Hornday interlock and they are fine.

ATF sure taking their good sweet time!

Do they send stamp to dealer, local ffl or to me personally? Only been in jail for 2 months so far with an efile.

    Some fresh kills

BTW. I have been using the .300 ham'r to great results. The big sow I shot at about 30 yards and was mortally wounded using 130 grain speer hot cor. I also shot a close range piglet with it and blew its face off. I am testing the 125 grain SST which are very accurate.

    AR 10 DPMS feeding issues

If it is not the magazine it is either too much gas or not enough. Check with your gas port size, make sure gas block is aligned correctly. See what size buffer you are running. Magazines can cause alot of issues, too.

Looking for a ultra liteweight scope

That is super light but I am so accustomed to 30 mm tube. I have been using the Vortex 2.5x10x44 with 30mm tube. Still pretty light and good quality

What .257 bullet are you shooting?

Why is it that it seems .257 and 7mm bullets are the hardest to find these days? More allocation to 6.5 and .308, 224? One would think that after 2 years of shortages that supplies would be coming back more than they are currently. Not to mention powder and primers...
