I guess I'll be odd man out. I use Armor-All car wash soap in my Thumler Model B, with a touch of Lemishine. One important step for me is to dry tumble freshly sized brass in walnut to remove the sizing lube (Dillon) before my finish wet tumble.

Different powders have different densities. H414 is a ball powder, and a given weight of it will occupy less space than and extruded (stick type) powder will. Had you loaded the ball powder first, the stick powder charge would be really light. Powder measures "measure" by volume, not weight.
