What are the advantages of a FFP over a SFP,and vis versa?

My new Sendero in 300 RUM was FUBARed from the factory,chamber was cut .025 out of round and the barrel was warped. You should probably take it to a gun smith and have it checked out.

What after market barrel is preferable on a long range rig. Every after market barrel maker makes there product sound good,but which one is a consistent good?
