hello, am trying to toss up weather to get a nightforce 5.5-22x50 with milrad turrets and mlr reticle, but what image plane for the reticle, in the first or second? what are the benefits of both, plan on using on a 7mm out to 1000m. cheers

yeh the bloke who is building the rifle was talking about the accubond 225 grn in it and thinks it will be fine bullet to run out to a mile, the rifle is not going to be 'light' and i plan on having a muzzle break on it wich should drop that recoil down a fair bit, but will see what grain bullet...

hey ltlr i have settled on the 338 rum with a 28'' barrel and brakeon it. i have a new rem 700 action that is new and putting it in a manners stock, i want the best accuracy i can get but dont want a real heavy gun, a bit of weight good but a lot not so much. cheers
