Just purchased a 280AI from Alamo Rifles. Has a 26" barrel length with a 9" twist. This will be a hunting rifle and I prefer shooting heavier bullets, and I will hand load using Peterson brass. What loads are you guys using for 175g and up bullets?

Have it narrowed down between 2 calibers: the 280AI and the 6.5PRC necked up to 7mm. Both are short actions, but different bolt face. Appears that the 7-6.5 PRC has about +4g of case capacity. Would be rolling my own rounds, so buying factory is not a concern. Any draw backs other than...
