I'm thinking uniforming pocket holes and while you're at it deburr flash holes. I would think you should be good.

With Remington, there are almost unlimited parts available. Also, any smith will work on them. I have 3 now and have had 4 others in the past. The only way to go.

Try a penetration test. I carry a Ruger Bisley Blackhawk in 45 Colt. I have a 300-grain bullet going 1350 fps. I screwed 12 pieces of 3/4 plywood together and shot the 45. It went through 8 pieces. Again bullet placement is key but it was interesting to see how the different calibers penetrated.

Hi , I have been reading on this site for years. The info on here is very valuable. I have a Remington sps tactical in 308 Winchester. Nightforce Glass lets me see what im shooting at. I also reload with a RCBS Rockchucker and Dillon 550.

Not sure of the exact weight but my Remington Model 7 in 300SAUM is so nice to carry. Can carry it long distances with no problems. Usually, it shoots 1/2 to 5/8 MOA.

I bought a Remington 308 and put a Tasco Super Sniper on it. That was a start. Then I sold two rifles and took some cash and bought a Nightforce. No going back now. I spend double the amount for a rifle for Good Glass!!
