Badlands BD-2 load data

No. Shot multiple sub moa groups with a larger caliber rifle within the same hour. Had 3 rifles out, rotating through them to allow cool down time.
Hunting rifle? How many times has this result repeated? Is it bedded? If it is a hunting rifle and this result repeats consistently I'd recommend zeroing for that cold shot and expect any follow up shots to impact right.
Personally I have not had these same results consistent
I have had rifles throw a first shot but I have yet to have it happen each time and always right it off as my mistake

It could be a lot of things, charge variances, neck tension, pulled trigger. Hard to really narrow it down, unless you were locked in on a sled.

What scale are you running and Is this group at 100? It's well within a minute of moose, so I'd certainly hunt with it.

I've been going straight to the 300 for load development. If I'm not happy with the group at 300, then I start making some changes in seating depth, after I have a good powder node.

Looking for load info, powder recommendation, starting charge weights for .264 BD-2 125gr.

Loading for 6.5 MAX. (Improved SAUM)
20" Bartlein 1-7.5 twist Carbon #4, 400 Mod BB

Powders on hand are: Retumbo, H1000, N565,
N560. I have access to H4831sc, H4350.
(If faster burn powders are needed let me know.)

Primers will try Federal 210m.

Any info I'd appreciate it.

Loaded the 30 cal 195 BD2 in my 300 PRC today. Started out with them loaded to a coal of 3.632 which puts me 0.020 off the lands.

I've got a 24" proof barrel with a 9.0 twist. Using N570, ran in 0.5 grain increments from 77.5 grains up to 81 grains without any real pressure signs. 79.0 and 79.5 both recorded 2949 fps.

Loaded some up at 79.3 grains to test seating depths in 3 round groups and found what I was looking for with a coal of 3.612 (0.040 off the lands)
