Shoots great
140 bergers and 143 eld-x at 3250 with h4831sc.
My last 6.5-257 barrel was particular to the 140 berger and vv N560.
It's a simple wildcat, neck up 257 brass and shoot. Recoil is very moderate even without the break.

Nice rig, I'd guess that the round is pretty much a 264 WM right?

I have quite a few 6.5 bullets I would be happy to throw in a box with the sale- hornady 140 sst, 143 eld-x
nosler 140 Ballistic tip
Nosler 142 or 150 ablr
berger 140 hunters
swift scirocco IIs et el.

I've had a couple questions regarding the 1:7 twist figured it would be easiest to answer them here.
1- why? When I ordered this barrel the 156 berger had been teased but not released and the rumor was it would require a 1.7 or 1:7.5. Also it opened up some other options with Monos( required here in ca)
2- no it won't blow up or "over stabilize" light cup and core bullets
3- the tighter twist hasn't shown an appreciable loss of velocity over my last 1:8 twist.
