And on a sidenote I believe there are no coincidences that everything happens for a reason ,through this thread and a few PMs I found out that DD Wing lives very close to me which is awesome ! hopefully I've made a friend and maybe we can shoot together sometime

Sounds like G1 BC is .444 and G7 BC is .242, but I did not read back through all the threads here on 10 pages.
If only shooting 300 yards, I might prefer to use G1 and .444 for that short distance regime.
G7 is really suited more to distances where "terminal" velocities have become more the
controlling factor in the physics.
So unless I was shooting say 800 to 1000 yards, I might not model with G7 and .242.
But, make real sure you dont accidently mix G1 with .242, and G7 with .444.
Bullet Manufacturers like to only cite G1 cause they are higher and sound better for marketing.

I looked at Lapua site a few times.
Unless I am looking at the wrong bullet I see G1 0.424 and G7 of 0.212

I have come to the conclusion that the problem is the Strelok app. If I input my MV at 2500, then everything lines up almost perfectly.

And that is using a BC of 0.424.
If you're not completely frazzled out by now try Shooter , it has been working for me for quite some time

Will do. Strelok certainly isn't working correctly.
Since I may have entered the BC wrong and looked it up it is now correct and I came up with the additional two clicks we were talking about at 300 how does that trajectory table look compared to your actual dope?
Just came from dentist and totollu confused now. Is post #182 the corrected one? Because that is what I get with data. And I can swith ti G7 and get similar answers
I believe that post is correct the BC it will be a G1.424
Thus the hat.
Your drag model says G7 but it appears your BC is G1. Is that correct or am I missing something?
