Deer season in review

I didn't get a chance to post up any pics during deer season, but it was a successful one for us. I let my sons and lease hunters kill all the trophies this year as I only took a cull buck. These are the bucks we took off my ranch this year. By the way, I am a low fence free range ranch.

We don't have any deer even close to that in this part of the world.
We have Way too many. Crop damage is significant. Depredation hunting again this year. 4 of us took 26. Last year 17. Mostly does.

Congrats, really great deer. All I, know about Texas is Ft. Hood. Got stationed there, after Vietnam in the 60's. I, meet a guy in my co. that bow hunted, before he was drafted. He and I, Bow hunted deer in Ft. hood, During the season. He was able to get a nice 8 Pt. He, and I, are still good friends to this day. How far are you from Ft. Hood.

About an hour from Ft Hood. We can hear the bombs when they're doing their training activities.
