hi, I got a remington 700pss in a 300win. Does anyone have any advice on what I should use out of it for an up to 800 yard deer bullet. Not trying to stomp on anyones feet but I tried 190gr matchkings and wasn't impressed
The 180bt @3000fps is a very confidence building round if you do part correctly.(or could it be the winchester launch pad) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
And here's where to get your noslers cheap!!! I've been buying the 2nds--can't tell them from new...put together an order with a friend...stock up..save $$$$$
In the 300wsm I think the 180gr Accubond seems to lead the pack but I heard the 300win will actually pass the wsm in ability once you start using the real heavy for caliber bullets. I would try the 200gr accubond, or some a 210gr ULD RBBT bullets by Richard Graves.
I use 180 TXS's over 81 grains of H-1000 in winchester case's,federal 215 primer For 3075 fps extreme spread of 5 fps, shoots into 1" to 1 1/4" groups at 300 yards, killed an Antelope this year with this load at 777 yards dropped in it's tracks
