This is a 300 grain SMK shot from a .338 Edge. I shot a Spike elk that was facing me from 900 yards. It went through the front of the chest and I found it under the hide of a rear quarter.

Cool, if the Barnes 280 grain LRX fail on me i am going to switch to the 300 grain SMK for hunting.
