Twist for 257 weatherby

Want to use hammers primarily but conventional also if necessary is 1-8 twist too much twist thank you for all your information and help.Tribb
Mine is 1:7" primarily to propel the heavies—131 BJ, 134 ELD-M, and 133/135 Bergers. However, I am working on load development with the 145 Black Hole and 163 Chinchaga, and soon 180 Chinchaga will be underway.

Do it!!!!!

The hammers are great bullets and I use the lightweights in my 257 bee 10 twist…but dang it I wish I could sling the 134 ELDM or the heavy chinchagas feenix is working with as well.

1:7 is how I built mine.

It slings the 128gr Hammer Hunter really well. 135gr Bergers fly well too.

Berger assured me that the 115gr HLVD will not come apart from the twist if I wanted to go lighter again.
