Target/ELR 375 HE..

Yes we are using same process to get 416 dimensions as on 375.

Doing a 416 hydro die, and test gun to double check and have the

416 cases with proper shoulder corner thickness.ED

I'm getting ready to order up a 1-8" twist 416 blank for this project. Should be fun!

Just Asked about 408 HE we'll make some of them as soon as

bunch 416s done, just make extra insert for neck die.

We'll Make hydro die, and use that to get exact, accurate specs

to reamers guys, Should get over 14% more speed than CT.

This getting interesting. Reaming out CTs....Ed

Here is picture of couple of our 375HE cases with a 375WEA

on the left, first of our cases has 330gr, other is 400 gr,Ed

About using hydrodie. I have case .005" out the bottom,

with belt of case up against bottom of die.

I made sure that I got max forming ,

then if it didn't stretch out to eliminate the donut effect, I adjusted the

base bushing down .015, and redo it, did that again at .010 and got

them looking right, when we sectioned them. Then we reamed hydrodie

and test gun chamber and they worked. Got accurate measurements

and they are at reamer guys. Ed

I got my resize reamer today.

Also got some of Ed's Hydro Formed cases and my sample case that he then ran through the Hydro Form Die. They measure perfect to his last drawing and the resize reamer.

My chamber reamer is at Manson. I don't have an ETA yet.

I'm machining my Hydro Form Die. After it's made I have a job to do then it's time to pull the barrel off the action and start fitting the 375 Barrel. By then the chamber reamer will be in and off we go..

Then to make the resize die. The CheyTac seater seems to work but I'll need to do some checking.

On the hydrodie when I adjusted the base bushing down and got

them looking right, we then reamed hydrodie to match length gained

and screwed base bushing back and the die was set. Then reamed

test gun chamber to match and they worked when fired.

I have my special reamer so I can ream separate of the belt to get

all the stuff right. Then another shorty reamer does belt. We gained capacity,

extra length to the shoulder, and about .010" more case length, so case

is longer than other 375s, and cases sectioned, fired few times

show no stretching., Ed

Test gun, that is how we getting speed results. Just test gun, Enfield action, non fancy, t-hole stock. Not a target barrel, no scope. Just to test speed and find folks the right bullet seating and powder to use, etc. With 360 gr and real long freebore. got 3600.Ed..

Still experimenting on powder due to what is available in volume

so guys can get it. Able to get all they need. 190 gr powder, speed 34 inch barrel,

One to ten twist, will have to have faster twist for 2 mile and heavier bullet,

this is not target barrel. Will test up to 400gr.

By April loads will be all figured out and know where

to get powders in good volume, These bullets have shortened boat tail

and are bore riders and out in long freebore. Just good speed because none

of the bullet is down below neck, so that pressures stay right.Ed

Here is our 375 HE on left next to first 375 Lethal version

that won the 2 mile shoot, and if you want really nice gun

built you can contact Mitch at Lethal Precision Arms on

FaceBook. Ed

Reason I showed cases together is I expect that half

the guys in top ten of 2 mile shot will be shooting something based

on our 585 HE necked down. Our tests are showing the highest

speeds of any 375s, and hopefully many bullet designs keep up for

what is needed for 2 mile. With them trying to get G7 BC over .550 ..Ed
