Starting over...

Eliminate your first problem before it starts. Don't neck size your brass. It will only fit your chamber properly for a few firings. Full length sizing with a proper shoulder bump is the way to go.
Shep
I have Redding-die set, and am experiencing that problem......how do I "proper shoulder bump my cases? I de-prime with Neck die... Thanks.

AJ, The 6.5 mm sounds like a wise choice, especially for hunting. It's a great deer cartridge. I shoot the 140 Accubond, and it has dropped every critter I've taken with it almost in their tracks. Also, the .22 is a great way to practice, especially at first. Good luck with your "re-education". Hunting shots beyond 300 yds. are pretty rare, and definitely demand a secure rest..

That's interesting... So much to learn.
as I'm shooting.. what's the best way to shoot a creeping trigger?
I can almost feel the point just before the break, but it's not perfect..
New trigger..LOL
