Hi, I have fire formed brass that I do NOT want to full length resize, it's for a bolt gun that sits on a bench and shoots, hopefully 1 elongated hole in paper. Not worried about fast follow ups, hunting, etc. at this point.
I want to:
1. Be able to set the shoulder back 1 thousandth after firing
2. Resize the neck very precisely, I know about bushing dies and own one
I'm not concerned if this takes 2 operations, but 1 would be preferred.
What die(s) should I use?
I have seen replies that say use a full length resizing die to set the shoulder back but full length dies start at the base of the cartridge, not desired, what's the point of fire formed then?
I know PRS folks do this so any insight is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
