Scope mounting on Defiance anti

I used Hawkins Hybrids on my 6.5SS with a Mark5HD built on an anTi. I had their 34mm rings opened to 35mm by live4thehunt.

I purchased some Hawkins 34mm rings then reached out to Chris at Live4thehunt. He no longer opens up the rings to 35mm. Looks like I am going to go with a pic rail. I was really hoping to use the Hawkins.

On my ANTI L/A I used the Talley medium ring mounts with a 8-32 NX8. It barely cleared the ocular on the scope and was not able to mount the scope back as far as I would like. I went to the 20 MOA rail.

I have a short action
Not sure the short and long are interchangeable

Anti short action, vortex pst, high talley one piece rings. Maybe 1/8 Clarence low will not work

I have an AG Composites Alpine Hunter on my 280 Ackley with the Defiance Anti Action, no issues with Vortex lows and a Swarovski Z6 3-18x50. The Tenacity build is a different story.

Thanks that is what I am talking about right there
I am using the Alpine Hunter also and with the lows it is perfect for my face but hopefully the mediums will clear like Defiance said and I won't need a stock pack

Seekins Lows are the limit, they are 2nd lowest behind the Ken Farrell low rings. I think they are .835", you should be able to extrapolate that out and pick a set that will work.

Here is the Defiance Tenacity with the Seekins rings and Vortex Razor HD LHT 3-15x42mm, plenty of bolt handle clearance.

I wish someone would come up with a swept bolt handle to screw in the bolt handle extension for extra clearance. View attachment 319477

What stock is this?

It's an Proprietary APR Carbon Fiber Stock, it's manufactured by AG Composites, but I haven't seen one similar on their site
