I am setting up a Rem. 700 RS in .243 with a standard sporter countour barrel for my 13 year-old son. I am trying to get the scope mounted as low as possible. Will a Leupold VX-3 2.5-8x36 mount properly in Leupold super low standard rings on this rifle? I don't want to make a purchase and it not work! Thanks, Scott
