Removing Recoil Pad from Savage Model 12FCV

Has anyone attempted to remove the recoil pad from a Savage model 12 FCV Accustock? I'm going to add some beads in the stock and I'm not sure what screwdriver to use to remove the recoil pad. Don't wnat to mess it up.
There are holes in the pad but it's impossible to see what type screw head is used.

Try phillips head (both of my Savages factory stocks had them) and fish for it. Good luck!

Thanks for the help. I just took a small phillips head screwdriver and got the job done. Guess I was afraid of damaging the new gun..
