Remington 700 SPS Varmint INFO & ADVICE

Yeah, if that SPS is a shooter it would be one heck of of a deal. The one bad thing I have heard about it is the stock, but to me it feels solid, I actually liked it. Dicks has a sharp one with kind of an olive green stock... but it is a kit with a crappy scope. Said they cannot order without scope, and the Remmy site does not list the green one.

Shot my SPS Varmint again this weekend and come out with a group of about 2.35" at 300 yards. It is definately a keeper I have a 6-24x44 tactical scope and a Choate US stock on it now w/bipod. As I said before I am well pleased and is a good investment for the price. My advice if you like it then go get one.
