I did the same thing but the results weren't too good. The pawl decided to snap on my hornady LNL and my son was freaked out because he "broke" my press. No amount of explaining ever has fixed this. 😭
Thats my grandson, and every time he hands me a piece of brass he asks "how's it look?" …🤣

I started "helping" at about 6 y/o... By 12, I was reloading my .222 and 30-06 rounds with supervision. At 16 my old man left the family...I'm the oldest of 6...and I loaded every empty case I could find so we could make sure to have meat in the house as he left with all of our money too. It took me reenlisting in the Navy to finally be able to afford to buy my reloading gear but I have been reloading ever since.
