Redding comp dies

I have a set of Redding comp dies for 243ai. When I tried to seat a bullet in a standard 243 win case, it would only seat the bullet a few thousandth into the case neck. Is there in the seater die that requires the case to be the ai versus the standard?

Figured it out. I wasn't threading the die in until it bottomed out the plunger.

There is also a set screw inside the top cap on a Redding comp seater, it controls depth of the seating stem. Sounds like you fixed the issue, but you can set the die body and that screw so your final seat depth chosen is lined up dead zero on the depth markings on the micrometer.
