On my rock checker press the screw that holds the priming arm on the press broke and the threaded part is in the body of the press and I cannot remove it. Anyone have any ideas of how to remove it without sending the whole press back to rcbs on warranty?

yeah, simple, tell them to send you a new press !!
Carefully drill it out backward, you might get lucky and back out the remainder of the screw

I've thought about talking to them about it, but then I wouldn't have a press to use. I started with a small drill bit but stopped because I figured I would screw something up.

try and get a bite going backwards with bit close to the hole size, if you bugger the threads you can chase them afterwards.
Are you using a LH bit?
Unlikely. Just a normal bit.
Figure out what size bit you need (smaller than the threads) and pick up a LH at your local Fastenal. Most of time the LH bit will catch the broken screw/bolt and back it out.

might try a flat headed screw driver and gently tap on it as you turn it.

Use a left hand drill.it will back the screw out

If you have drilled it out, drive an easy-out in it and turn it out with an adjustable wrench. It should come right out.

Be careful, if you use a bigger bit, which you will have to, you may get into the threads. Then you will need a tap of the proper size to clean up the threads. Safer to use an easy out, and cheaper.
