I ordered a cooper in 6.5-284 that will be here in 4-6 months and I am trying to get all of my reloading equipment ready.

My sister works for ATK and she got me a set of RCBS gold metal dies that require bushings. I have never used these types of dies, I don't have the gun or even the brass and I was wondering if any one has a method for choosing bushings. Thanks also a good load for 130 or 140 grain bullets would be great.

Measure a loaded round at the neck, with your micrometer. Buy three bushings: one .002" below that figure, another .001" and a third .003" below. With testing you should one that works well.
