Question from a new B lol

I am going to bye a remington 700sendero 300 ultra mag, or a 700sps stainless. My question is, i like the boone and crockett cross hairs in the Leuopold, very simple. Is the 3.5 to 10 times 50 to small to shoot at 500 yards? Do yous guys think i should go with the 4.5 to 14 times 50. I am using it for hunting only, and i use a peep sight up in this neck of he woods lol My eyes are getting a little tired so i am going to a scope. Well if yous can help me , thanks for taking your time .

first off, welcome aboard. the weather must be great there. where is that anyway?

a 3-10 should be fine to 500, especially if you're used to a peep sight!
