Looking at RPA triggers.
They come in one of 2 pull weights: 1lb or 3.3lb.

Which would you choose for a tactical style LRH rifle (and why!)?

I would choose the 3.3# over the 1# for a tactical rifle as 1# is way too light for such a purpose, hunting included. I have 2 tactical style rifles and both are around 2-2.5#s, they are not going to go off accidently if your hands are cold or are wearing gloves. Just my 2 cents worth.

For LR I like 1 lb. It takes getting used to though. 3 lbs. is too much for my taste.

2.5 lbs. is about 1/2-1 lb. more than I even like to deal with.

When I'm shooting I don't use a glove though.

Why light - I don't like to have to pull hard on a trigger to get it to go boom. To me, your tigger finger should only touch the trigger when you want it to fire. At that point, it should take very minimal pressure after contact to break.
