Nikon is getting out of rifle scope business

I am actually surprised they did not sell off their scope division to try and raise cash rather than just shut it down. It would have given them an outlet for their glass, which is one of their main profit centres. That would also have removed the residual warranty liabilities.

They may've tried and not got any interest that would make it worth their time. Would never know unless you were in upper management at Nikon...

I won't miss them at all . Ok glass with inaccurate tracking .i wouldn't want one
