8-point whitetail at 166 yards. Shot in the neck just below the jaw. Used a Remington 700 ADL-LS in 270 Winchester, 130 grain Nosler BT's with 54 grains of H4350.

2 weeks later I took a doe in the exact same spot. Shot her in the head with a Remington 700 BDL, 30-06 loaded with 165 grain Nosler BT and 58 grains of H4350. She never felt a thing.

NOTE: I love these kind of shots as I am a meat hunter and cause no ruin. :D

I have 3 long range elk kills over 700 yards. I shot a bull at 705 yards and a cow elk at 735 yards with a winchester model 70 with a huskemaw scope shooting 168 gr. berger vlds with 74 grs. of retumbo at 3,175 fps. I shot another cow elk at 815 yards with a semi custom 6.5-284 winchester on a savage action with a shilen barrel and huskemaw scope. It shoots 140 gr. berger vlds at 3,100 fps with 51 gr. of RL17.

Dall sheep in the Yukon Territory up near where the Arctic Circle and the borders of the Yukon Terr and MacKenzie Terr intersect. About 520 yards.

7mm Rem Mag, 160 grn Nosler Partition. mv about 3000 fps. Same trip I nailed a timber wolf and a grizz but those were 50 yards or less.
Zeiss 6x scope on a custom Harry Lawson Model 700.

This past deer season, I was scheduled for shoulder surgery 2 days after the season ended. I had been so busy getting everything done before becoming 1 armed, I just sort of blew off the last weekend of the season.
That Sunday, last day, I got up in the morning, poured a coffee, and wandered out to the deck to greet the morning. A forked horn was standing in the yard, we looked at each other for a moment, and I casually went back into the house, thinking "we made eye contact, so he'll be gone when I go back out". Well, he had only move a few feet, so I shot him. I hit him squarely between the back of the Adirondack chair and the deck railing.
We cut and wrapped him on Monday and had surgery on Tuesday.
Not exactly long range. More like 15 yards, but a gift all the same.

I've killed antelope at 350, but not in my underwear...

Sadly, I haven't made any rifle kills in the last 12 months. The last 5, I have been in Iraq, and before that I was concentrating on killing with my old ben pearson recurve. A venture in which I was successful.

From what exball said muleteer doe at close to 1600 with 7stw using 162gr. Amax. Did take two walk in shots so cheating I know. Elk at 1127 for a one shot kill is the best on big game in the last 12months

My longest is 347 yards on a very nice 7 pt buck with a .308 using 150 gr Hornady Superformance. I live in Texas so its hard to find a shot like that. this year Im gonna be in position for a shot up to 600 yards. Depends on where he steps out at. Ill be ready for 500-600 and the deer will probly come out in bow range.
