Just got a 308 norma mag ,and I want to load some shells for moose hunting.
She is a browning FN BBR
I heard the 190 are to heavy as she has a 1/12 twist
Was going to try 168 or 180
Not sure what brand or type yet
I heard most guys are using 4831 in there 308 norma mags .
Just not a big fan of the 4831.
Any one have any loads they want to share.
Feel free to PM me if you do not want it posted.
Thanks for any Replies.

72.5gr H4831SC with 215 M primers, and 168 Barnes Match bullets have given me amazing results and it is my go to load for anything. The seirra's in the same weight range work just as well.

sorry..... if you don't like 4831 I can't help much.

I shot a lot of 180 Sierra gk with 4350 in my 30-338 with a 11.25 twist and did quite fine with it.
Recently discovered that berger 210's will shoot with H1000. Here is a primer test done with it.

All groups were the same load with different primers.
It would group down to about .4's with the exception of F210's. They will shoot low .3's to low.1's.
It might be worth a trying Berger 185 or 190's and H1000.
Good luck....Cliff
