Load for 338WM using 300 SMK

IT would be great if someone could help me out with a load for my 338 Winchester Magnum using ADI or Hodgdon rifle powders only.

I only need a load for the 300 grain Sierra Matchking projectile.

ok use a CCI 250 primer start at 65gr AR2213SC and workmup to your max 68gr should give around 2400fps.

Load the projectiles out as far as you can making them just into the lands 10thou or the max length that they will still fit in your Sako mag. Sierra reccomends 3.410 oal but the longer you can load them the greater the powder capacity of the case and you then can work the loads up heavier.

61.5 gr of H4350, BR-2 primer, Win. brass and 3.410 OAL is a home run as well.

Nets 2490 fps out of a 26 in tube, with less than 8000 psi of muzzle pressure and 98% load density.

Hey DUH,
You were very right. These blokes sure know their stuff and are very helpfull. Much appreciated.

Got my new Brake fitted to my Sako today, looks great.
