Bottom one looks like some type of sight pusher, or a clamp of some sort to possibly hold a part in place for soldering, etc.
No clue on the top one, set screws look to have indexing marks for making fine adjustments for "something".

'Tiqued' one look like it could be a scope side mount to a rifle...maybe back ring is 'broke off'...but surely looks like front is very adjustable.....
Agree with Tobnpr......site installer/adjuster.......dont see it as a 'clamp'.....
I was thinking it looked like a drill jig to put sights or scope mounts on. ?
Thanks

While they are interesting I find the character of the wood they are on to be just as interesting.
Yes the wood they are on , well my work /handloading tables are from the hall section of an old church where they held potlucks.
The floor in the hall has logging spike holes in it ,from their boots I guess.
The tables are made of pine or fir , wide old boards , probably from the old long gone mill here.
I've had he old 1946 church for over 20 years, it's in a small town in the Sierra Nevada foothills started out as my cabin , now it's a museum/ curiosity , open upon request.
That's where some of the barn finds end up.
I'll try an post a few pics.
Thanks.

Bottom one looks to me like a sight pusher, although not very strong. Wouldn't push 1911 sights into their dovetail, for example.

Top one is interesting. The part to the right looks like a handle, including having a bent portion to cushion the fingers. There appears to be a square stud on the lower end that would fit in a 1/4" socket drive. I don't think there's enough adjustment in the screws to be a scope mount, and the square stud doesn't make a lot of sense.

Where in the Sierras is the church?
