It's easier to shoot them tied down than running!
Just tied his legg so it would not fall down driving over rough terrain and crossing creeks.

He has a nice smooth summer coat and doesn't look to have any signs of mange and appears to be well fed.

I've seen many bad mangy coyotes with bald faces and shoulders and ratty tails running here this past summer.
