ELD-X vs. tipped core lokt

Anyone have experience with these 2? Which did you prefer and why? Application will be for whitetail deer hunting out of a .243 300 yards or less.

The scuttlebutt is the tipped corelokts are sst's with green tips.

Either will kill deer just fine.
