We found out young and we paid attention in science class.
Still have shrapnel in my left hand from an incident back in the 70s.
Have been quilty of letting new or inexperienced shooters shoot a hard kicking gun.
Please dont do this, it can end badly and discouages new shooters......

Hell, nothing new here, when we were kids, 55 years ago, we used to stick shotgun shells into hay bales and shoot the primers with a 22 from 25 yards. Also lit matches as part of the game. The empty shotgun shell would launch itself 15-20 yards in the direction of the shooter. Primers were destroyed by the 22 round so never saw primers flying about but I could see it happening with a BB gun. It never ceases to amaze me the number of dumbazz things we got away with as kids. Good thing there was no Youtube to post our dumb stunts on.
