DPMS LR-.308 bbl

Does DPMS make this bbl inhouse or do they get it somewhere else?

I can't find an answer so I thought I'd ask here if anyone knows for sure.

Don't know for sure, so this isn't gospel, but I don't believe they make their own barrels. Almost positive it's a subcontract job they get elsewhere.

Might be worth asking them directly?

I'm curious now that you asked the question, but have not worried about it. I have a 18" SASS, (2)Heavy fluted 20", a 20" heavy barreled Classic and they all shoot 1/4 MOA after they were fire-lapped using handloads out of a leadsled.
