I call the safety on my AR the giggle switch.

I named my big, full custom RUM "the sledgehammer." It weighs around 16 pounds and with pushing 230's at 3,250fps I figured it was appropriate for both reasons.

That is a fricken "sledgehammer"!

I too have a rifle named "Thumper". A Semi Custom 300 WBY shooting a 230 Berger at 3014fps and has hammered every elk put in front of it. My nephew says that Thumper was a gay rabbit.... but the again, he calls his 300 win "Booger'.

I don't have any named. My pops has "bad bob", his old trusty .270 that's killed 100+animals, and "big bill", his 7mmRUM that's his go to elk rifle.

I always liked the name haus-fly for a rifle but none wear that moniker yet

Toby , is green . it's my 7mm-08 that I mostly use for groundhogs . it's taken a couple over 700 yards .

Samantha , is tan . it's my 338 lapua . it's rang steel at 2375 yards .
