I took a new job this year and lost all of my vacation. The new company shuts down the weeks of Christmas and New Years. I noticed there are some units in WY that offered otc cow tags last year. I am wondering if anyone has hunted elk after Christmas on the eastern part of the state? Im not set on WY but would prefer to keep the ride a little shorter. Thanks

Yes there several areas that have otc tags available after the draw the end of june, send me a pm and i can give you some ideas ph

That's pretty late for elk hunting. Just remember that the mountains will all be snowed in by late November. The hunting will have to be in the low areas, probably around hay stacks.

Cold and windy, did I mention cold and windy. Have hunted late season around Dubois several time. Did I mention cold and windy. Filled out everytime also!
