Budget Spotting Scope

Hope I do not embarrass myself but I simply do not have the funds to get a Nikon Spotter as I had hoped for this years hunt . While in a local shop last night I saw they had a Tasco 20-60x60 Spotting Scope for roughly $90.00. Is this even worth considering? I am looking for something lightweight to use for my pack hunt but as I said I just cant swing the $800+.00 in a months time, will have it for next year. I am wanting to use it for glassing for Blacktails and for spotting each other during the shoot.

My only other option is to carry my massive HEAVY Kowa or go with none at all. Probably none at all.

If you have good binoculars I think I would just go with them instead of carrying the weight of a spotting scope that is likely not much better than a decent pair of binocs.

The only spotter that I have used that is worth the money (?) in that price range is the Burris 20x50 Compact.
