Just curious if anyone is shooting the 245 Grain Berger EOL in there 300 PRC and if so how is the velocity and accuracy?
Where do you live?Got a couple boxes of 245s on hand, some h1000/retumbo, and a 1:8 barrel from proof on order so hope to see soon. Need to get some n570. definitely interested to hear more.

Yeah very exciting to see that they are pushing this bullet to over 2900 fps. That would make for a hell of an elk round if that is the case. I have a couple of pounds of N570, now I just need to get some of the bullets. Will keep you guys posted if I get any results. Please do the same.I'm building a 300 PRC as we speak. It is a 1/8 twist and I'm looking to shoot both the 250 A-Tips as well as the 245 EOLs. I have heard of good results with n570, Retumbo and RL26. I have a some RL26, RL33 and a couple pounds of Retumbo to experiment with. Info on the 245s has been a bit scarce from PRC shooters thus far. It'll be interesting to see some trued up B.C. numbers especially if it is possible to push them above 2900fps.
I kicked around the SM idea for a while, but the added price of the dies and reamer made me stay with the PRC. The extra horsepower would definitely be nice though...A lot of guys are building the 30 SM and shooting factory prc ammo very accurately and then reloading it and shooting it a lot faster!!View attachment 187595
