I'm having a 300 PRC built. I really want to go 1:8 twist for the heavy 245's, but I'm worried it won't shoot the 215's then.
Anyone know if there's an issue with the twist or if it's gonna try to spin the 215's too fast?

I've not shot the 215 in an 8 but I can't imagine any issues. If you're concerned maybe go with an 8.5 or 9 that'll will handle both? I went with 9 and have a good stockpile of both bullets with zero issues or concerns noted with either.

I had an 8 in my 300 WM and it did very well.

Did an 8 in my RUM for the 245s and have not had super great results.

I had an 8 twist 300 nm and it shot the 215s ridiculously well
I'm having an 8 twist 30 nos barrel chambered up, I plan to use 245s, 220 LRHT, and some heavy monos.
Badland bullets just released a 205 grain super bulldozer 2 with a claimed .785 bc!
It requires at least an 8.5 twist
