Anyone use Speer 100 grain BTSP in .243

No I have not tried Speer 100 BTSP. I shoot a 6mm Rem with Hornady 100 BTSP & have shoot my 2 smallest groups 7/8 inch at 300 yds yes 300 yds nice groups. I will say I have only done this twice Remington 700 BDL 6mm factory barrel, made about 1974. Scope Steel tube 3x9 40mm Weaver 35 year old scope, It has been glass bedded, & trigger lighten. In reality for 3 shot groups it averages 2.1 inch groups on average when shooting at 300 yds. Look up on Hornadys web site .243 100gr BTSP has a picture of a Mule Deer I shot a couple years ago.

they shoot real well in my 6mm rem classic and have done well on whitetail for me. there kind of thin skinned and act simualar to sierra or nos bts on deer.

i have had some success with my .243 on antelope , deer and elk. what rifle are you shooting. what are you shooting at??

Savage Model 10 .243 Win. 1:9.25 twist. Looking for a deer bullet to 300 yards and groundhog bullet to 500. Not liking my groups with Win 780 :-(

The .243 can be a great long range round. i won my first 1000 yard match with a .243 . for accuracy i always try varget and I4064 first. for more velocity i try I/H-4350. lapua brass and br-2 or 210m . .030 off the lands.
