7mm RM Bullet for Long Range Hunting

I've used the 168 Berger VLD in my 7mm WSM at 2850 fps on everything: javelina, ibex, aoudad, deer, and elk with great terminal results. I would expect the heavier bullets to work just as well.

I have several loads for my 7RM Rem 700 w/24" Brux barrel. Really only consider the Berger 180's a "long range" load.

Berger 180 hunting VLD, H1000, around 2860
Nosler 160 Partition, RL22, around 2960
Nosler 160 Accubond, RL22, around 2930
Hornady 154 Spire Point, H4350, around 3030 (mild load for whitetails, not really a "long range" load).

I also have some Hornady 162 SST's that I'll be working with H4831 this fall. It's hot right now in East Texas!

Just curious what everyone is using bullet wise for long range hunting out of their 7mm Rem Mag, let's say under 1,000 yards?

Finding out that mine really likes the Berger 180gr VLD Hunting bullets. Haven't hunted with this combo yet though.
It works good. Just stay off heavy bone and you'll do well.
