I just bought a proof research 7 mm barrel blank. It's a 8.4 twist, what length of barrel and grain bullet would you recommend for long range?
Thanks

I use a 180 Berger Vld hunting in a 7RM with a 8.5 twist Krieger. Shoots well. Bergers go to a 195 grain but freebore and mag length has to be considered.
8.4 twist is better, so you can easily fit the 180 class or lower bullets there.
Mono copper has limitations so you need to pay attention to recommendations on twist, but you will find much lighter bullets work well. 168 gr is probably unstable as mine would not shoot well.
