I just picked up a 700 VLS in 6mm with the factory barrel...should be a 9.125 twist...how will it do with the 107 MK to 600 yards?...will it shoot a 115 Berger?

barreltwister,
I don't know but Sierra recommends a 7-8" twist for their 107 MK and Berger recommends a 7" twist for their 115 VLD. Your rifle may not stabilize them. Maybe someone with a factory 6mm will chiime in soon. JohnnyK.

Mine will shoot 105 A-max's, it did not shoot the 105 Bergers well, but I did not mess with it alot. It will shoot 1" groups at 300 yards with the A-max's. I have not tried 107's or 115's.

My 6mm vls shoots the 107 gr great. Im using RL-22 and cci br primers, one hole at 100 yrds. Great long range dog load.

My Ruger #1 and my Rem M788 (both 6MM Rem's) do very well with the Sierra Game King 100gr SBT. Sub 1/2 moa cold barrel groups on a very regular basis. I have not tried the 107gr SMK.
