I've yet to shoot a whitetail as I just got my 6mm creedmoor. Thus far I haven't seen anything to give me any pause. A lotta deer around here fall to the 243. Plus it's a dream to shoot and almost like cheating it shoots so well with factory ammo (used for break-in).
