338 A square brass

Anyone know of anyone who has any? Ive checked with jamison and Quality.
The 338 a-square is based on the 378 weatherby brass. You can probably order some from the company that bought A-Square but the brass is a little pricey. Your best bet would be to buy a set of 338 form dies which mine are made by Redding, then get some readily available 378 weatherby brass and make your own. The process is pretty simple and will save you some $$$ if you shoot that rifle very much. Factory ammo used to run about $5+ a round. With my brass it cost about $1.10 round. I used 200 gr nosler balastic tips and 4831 powder and that 200 grainer flies at 3300 fps (26" barrel).

I tried to find brass for a cpl years and gave up. I recently had it rechambered to factory 338/378 wby. Ammo is soooo cheap :-0

338 A square magnum cases could made out of 338-378 cases Im pretty sure .
Then A square developed there newer case the 338 Excalibur a bigger case with no belt.
That's correct. The 338 A square and 338-06 are not the same. 338 A square is based on the big 378 Wby case. The chamber dimensions for 338 A square and 338-378 Wby are VERY close. You can find information on the 338 A square in Art Alphin's "Any Shot You Want".
