So I have just committed to purchasing a stock Remington Sendero SFII in 300 RUM. Will be topped with a Vortex PST 4-16X.

This will be my first true long range rig. I will be loading for Mule Deer/Elk for longer shots in Idaho's Salmon River Country. Probably more gun than needed, but I don't like chasing animals in that country.

Anyways, looking at loading either 190 or 210 Nosler LR Accubonds as I have always been a nosler guy. But I am open to other suggestions. Maybe a 190 or 210 berger? Was thinking about R22 or R25 powder?

Also, on a Sendero, how far out can you typically load those long bullets?

I would look at the 215 Berger hybrid. My Sendero liked them with Retumbo.
Mine also likes the 208 a-max with Retumbo as well

My buddy has a Sendero that likes the 215 Berger and uses H1000

If you go to the FAQ form and check out the last topics as read only data you will find all the above links. I broke in the same rifle you have with 178 AMAX and they almost shot 1 hole groups with 94grains of retumbo. I tried 210 VLD's and never got below 3/4 inch group. I since moved to a berger 230 OTM hybrid bullet with 89.4 grns of retumbo. I forget the COL length right now. I think its like 3.798. I single feed the gun with this load. I think if your wanting to cycle feed using your mag then the 200AB are going to be one of the best LRH to use. I have read several post that the 210ABLR don't like to be driven much above 3000fps. Also I recommend getting a brake installed. It made a huge difference in how much I will shoot my RUM no at the range. gun)
